summertime?

can it really be the first day of summer! im sure in most of the country it is but not in portland oregon! I really don't think i could need the sun so much in my life!

that's saying a lot considering i'm from the desert and hate the sun but i've come to realize the longer i live in the northwest that the sun helps people to feel alive. the sun gives us humans energy and will to live! im on my last legs here....

please sun come to portland for summertime!

i want to have lemonade and pie, beer and burgers.... i want to ride my bicycle and hang out in the hammock. i want to read a cheesy novel in the park and eat ice cream cones. please summer get here soon!
